Job Description Day-to-Day Insight Global is looking for a 1.5 year contract Senior C#/SQL Server Developer for a client in New Haven, CT for $45-$62 an hour. The team is going through a migration of its system to a low code platform called OutSystems and requires support for the existing system while the migration progresses. The candidate's primary responsibility will be handling support requests from EHS, but will also be assigned bugs and enhancement requests. The candidate will be spending 50 percent of their time working with C# in the ASP.NET MVC web application and WinForms desktop application, and 50 percent of their time working with SQL in the Microsoft SQL Server database.    To further break down the role, the candidate will:     Correct database data issues by writing SQL insert, update, and delete statements   Respond to data requests by writing SQL select statements to get data from the database   Resolve bugs by modifying C# application code and/or SQL Server tables, stored procedures, views, and functions   Complete enhancement requests by creating and/or modifying C# application code, SQL Server tables, stored procedures, views, and functions   Check all work for accuracy prior to submitting pull requests, transitioning it to QA, or applying it to production   Maintain frequent communication with team members and work closely with them throughout the development process Write C# code and SQL that is clean, ef We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
