You will be working with on high profile systems that are used by traders across the firm.
In this role, you will:
Design, develop and implement software applications that satisfy complex business requirements using object oriented programming in C# in a Windows environmentResponsible for requirements gathering and analysisParticipate in all phases of SDLC from initial requirements through final quality assurance and implementationImplement and maintain software updatesCollaborate with technology team members on application design and implementation and generate innovative ideas to improve overall ability of the systemsProvide training and support for application and tools built by the teamWhat we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent plus 2 years of progressive experience developing software applications. Relevant technical experience may substitute for educationRecent hands-on experience with C# is requiredRelational database knowledge is required.Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to deal with technical and business staff while working on a trading desk is required. The successful candidate will demonstrate eagerness to learn about the business as well as technologyAbility to meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a fast-paced team environment is requiredStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment are necessaryWillingness and ability to work in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
