Job Title: C++ Developer
Job Description

This is a remote position based out of the Milwaukee area. The candidate must live within the surrounding Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, although you will be working mostly remotely. You will be working independently to develop C++ code running on embedded products, specifically using C++ version 11. The role involves adding features, working in a Linux environment, and troubleshooting and fixing existing code. As you become familiar with the product and system, you will occasionally field calls about field and product issues to help diagnose where the code might need updates.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop C++ code for embedded products independently.Add new features and troubleshoot existing code.Work in a Linux environment to develop and maintain software.Occasionally field calls to diagnose field and product issues.Investigate and ask questions to determine what is needed for development.Essential SkillsProficiency in C++ (version 11 preferred).Experience with Linux OS.Ability to work independently.Strong troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of professional experience in C++ development.Experience with or strong desire to work in a Linux environment.Ability to ask questions and seek information to move forward with development tasks.Work Environment

You will be working in a small team environment, primarily remotely, with 99% of the work done from home. The role offers significant independence and autonomy, allowing you to deliver C++ code and investigate solutions independently. The team values clear communication and proactive problem-solving.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
