Join our team as an Experienced C-17 Product Repair/Modifications Technician and play a vital role in the C-17 Globemaster III Integrated Sustainment Program. We need someone with impeccable attendance and a strong passion for maintaining and improving aerospace systems. Key Responsibilities: + Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace vehicle components. + Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul tasks. + Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. + Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components. + Document procedures and processes for contractual and regulatory compliance. + Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness. Basic Qualifications: + Ability to obtain security clearance + 3+ years of experience working from heights and using fall protection equipment. + Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. + 3+ years of experience in detecting hazardous working conditions and safety problems. + 3+ years of experience in repair, maintenance, and retrofit processes. Preferred Qualifications: + Active Secret Clearance + Knowledge of live aircraft operations, including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems. + Minimum of 3 years of C-17 platform experience. + Ability to read and understand C-17 blueprints and USAF Technical Orders. + Multi-system operations, maintenance, and repair experience. Education/Experience: High School diploma/GED and 4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate + 2 years related work, Bachelor, etc.). Project Details: + Work on specific projects like beyond line-of-sight modifications. + Part of a 20-person team. + Use fall protection and confined space training. + Operate hand tools. Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
