SUMMARY
The Convenience Store Clerk receives cash from customers or Associates in payment for goods or services by performing the following duties in a quick and friendly manner. Oversees operations when left in-charge of store.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides excellent customer service, ensuring positive customer relations and satisfaction.Performs product scanning and processing of customer's orders in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner.Processes and is accountable for other services handled at the registerEnsures proper handling of all forms of tender and couponsBookkeeping – balance tillsAnswers incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquettePerforms fixed activities as assigned by Store DirectorAssists with maintenance and cleaning of the storeFollows all store and department policies and proceduresFollows all safety policies and proceduresGeneral upkeep of all machines (stores with gaming)Maintain bill breaker machine (stores with gaming)Bartending (stores with gaming)Other duties may as assigned.KEY ATTRIBUTES
