**Summary** The **C-sUAS Systems Engineer** will support the government by providing hands-on systems engineering services for C-sUAS systems. _This position is contingent upon additional funding._ **Responsibilities** + Conduct periodic system testing of C-sUAS sensor systems and effectors to monitor persormance and identify anomalities. + Design and execute system assessments to evaluate performance of new and emerging C-sUAS technologies + Conduct data analysis for systems to assist with the refinement and expansion of current sensing capabilities and sustain optimal operational readiness. + Make recommendations to reduce or eliminate false alarms. + Manage maintenance database to analyze trends and determine root cause of failures and system degradation and develop periodic reports. + Support post drone incident analysis and report development + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Five years of experience in conducting technology assessments of current and newly emerging sensor technologies. + Two years of experience of CUAS detection and mitigation systems. + Bachelor’s Degree in general engineering or related field. + Demonstrated ability to communicate via written and oral means effectively + Demonstrated critical thinking capability + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_ + Experience working in DOD field. + Master’s degree preferred. + Knowledge of Microsoft applications and programs. + Excellent writing and speaking skills are essential. + Ability to manage installation and maintenance schedules to complete work to acceptable standards within the time allotted + Ability to troubleshoot electronic security systems + Ability to work collaboratively in a combined industry/government group Chenega Corporation and family of companies is an EOE.
