C-UAS / Blue-UAS Development Analyst
**Description** The Analytical Solutions Division (ASD) of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time **C-UAS/Blue-UAS Development Analyst** on-site at Barksdale AFB in Shreveport LA. The right candidate will provide support to the plans and strategies of AFGSC, supported units, and the AF Nuclear Enterprise. The **C-UAS/Blue UAS Development Analyst** supports the acquisition program efforts using the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) process to include Concept of Operations (CONOPS), Concept of Employment (CONEMPS), Joint Avionics (JA) Rules of Engagement (ROE) development and coordination, test planning, execution, and reporting. Must have a strong and substantial background with proven history in Counter UAS. The ideal candidate will ensure proposed solutions meet regulatory guidance, is accurate, complete, meets DoD-level policy intent and is supported by corresponding DoD/Service policies and procedures. This position will require excellent written communication skills. **What you will do as a C-UAS/Blue UAS Development Analyst** **(may not be all inclusive)** **:** + Develop C-UAS and Blue-UAS Tactics, Training, and procedure development for fielding + Maintain a working knowledge of relevant Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Department of Defense (DOD) policy for C-UAS operations + Maintain in-depth knowledge of C-UAS and Blue-UAS capabilities trends and advancements to keep abreast of emergent threats + Acquainted with all C-UAS and Blue-UAS system issues throughout AFGSC + Work with interagency partners to coordinate C-UAS and Blue-UAS tactics, training, and procedural activities + Work directly with customer AFGSC to develop innovative projects with direct communication to internal stakeholders and leadership + Provide any other technical, administrative, and programmatic support needed to fulfill mission needs as directed by leadership + Review and assess system cost estimates for existing and new C-UAS and Blue-UAS systems, subsystems, and components + Participate in DoD research and development and provide feedback to leadership + Attend and record minutes for scheduled meetings + Process documents, data, and reports as needed to support client requirements + Assist in the development of and maintenance of project, configuration, risk and communication management plans and processes **C-UAS/Blue UAS Development Analyst Experience and Skill Required:** + **Must be U.S. Citizen** + **Hold a current Secret Security Clearance with TS/SCI eligible** + Bachelor's degree **and** 2-4 years' work-related experience **OR** H.S. Diploma or equivalent and 8-10 years' work-related experience + Knowledge in a wide range of force protection, security specialties, concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and electronic security practices + Experience with C-UAS and Blue-UAS operational systems + Working knowledge of relevant FCC, FAA and DoD policy for C-UAS operations + Strong understanding of Force Protection Conditions and Tactics, Training, and procedural development for fielding + Expertise in DoD policy, roles and missions, and organizational structure + Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office applications + Ability to manage and prioritize numerous projects/assignments + Organization and time management skills + Ability to communicate concisely with the technical community and identify issues to internal and external audiences + Excellent research skills + Strong interpersonal skills to interact with the customer and current project team members **Nice to Have/Preferred:** + Have an active Top Secret DoD security clearance and eligible for TS/SCI + 5+ years relevant working experience in C-UAS and Blue-UAS + Project Management Certificate **ARA Company Information:** Applied Research Associates, Inc. is an employee-owned international research and engineering company recognized for providing technically superior solutions to complex and challenging problems in the physical sciences.
