THE JOB

As the Merchandise Project Manager, you will act as the project manager on all merchandise projects for a portfolio of festivals within C3 Presents organization. The role is responsible for overseeing the end-to end merchandise process to ensure the achievement of merchandise

goals.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Act as the primary point of contact between the Festival Executive and the Director of Merchandise to ensure alignment on merchandise objectives

Collaborate with the Festival Executive and the Director of Merchandise to achieve merchandise offerings that align with festival identity and audience demographics

Manage the merchandise process from concept to delivery, including design, ordering, and production while adhering to production timelines and working with stakeholders to receive approvals

Collaborate with creative freelancers to manage artwork development for collections, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and detailed creative briefs

Consult with legal to manage contracts and negotiate deal points with contracted artists

Source products from manufacturing partners and custom-made markets that meet desired aesthetic standards and production price points

Oversee the production process from development to delivery, addressing potential order issues as needed

Track and manage merchandise budgets for each show, monitoring expenses to align with financial objectives

Reconcile and log all invoices, coding expenses accurately, and submitting them for payment

Consolidate post-event income statements and reports, integrating SKU-level sales details, expenses, income sources, and year-over-year comparisons to deliver actionable insights and recommendations for improving future merchandise operations

Facilitate the creation of product information and assets for product launches, coordinating with external departments to develop cohesive launch strategies

Collaborate with the Merchandise E-Commerce Manager to plan and execute e- commerce strategies, ensuring seamless integration with post-festival sales

Work closely with the Partnerships Manager to execute brand partnerships, securing necessary approvals from festival executives

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

2-3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the event or festival industry

Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Experience in reformatting and resizing digital and print files

Strong understanding of creative processes related to product development and branding

Proven experience managing budgets and tracking financial performance

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Motivated self-starter who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and has exceptional follow through skills

Superior organizational and administrative skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Ability to handle stress and pressure

Ability to travel

Flexibility in work hours and availability, especially during festivals and major projects
