Job Summary:
C3 Presents is currently searching for a Talent Assistant to join their Casinos team! The Casinos Talent Assistant will provide day-to-day support to Senior Talent Buyer in the Casino Department, with heavy emphasis on development into Junior Talent Buyer.
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the casino team to book entertainment and carry out related day-to-day administrative tasks such as pitches, market research, organizational tasks, deal point memos, avail submissions, drafting offers, reviewing contracts, etc.Assist with creating and maintaining offers, confirmations, organizational tools, and other pertinent documents and using these tools to develop extensive knowledge of talent buyers’ offers and showsUse, create and supplement internal tools to analyze success of entertainment strategiesConduct independent and proactive research to become knowledgeable about each venue’s market, learning to distinguish what content would be appropriate at talent buyers’ venuesUtilize data to develop lists of potential entertainers for casino showsParticipate and take notes on conference calls, updating and sharing information regarding the venues’ entertainment strategySchedule and coordinate conference calls, meetings, and appointmentsGeneral administrative support including assisting with calls and messagesForge and maintain relationships with agents, assistants, managers, celebrity bookers, entertainment directors, business partners, and casino executivesWork with marketing teams to ensure accuracy of each shows’ on-sale process and ticketing detailsProfessional and timely response to agency requests for ticket countsInterface with cross departmental teams, including marketing, contracts, legal, etc.Other duties as assignedQualifications
At least 1 year of experience in related industryAdvanced computer skills with proficiency in using Microsoft ExcelPositive attitude, analytical mind, eager and inquisitive nature, and self-motivatorInterested and enthusiastic about music, both on a national level and as it relates to casino entertainmentExtensive knowledge of the music industry landscapeAbility to prioritize, multi-task and excel under pressure with high priority on meeting set deadlinesSuperior organizational, administrative, and time management skillsExcellent and confident phone manner to handle significant client contactExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPersonable and professional dispositionFlexibility in work hours and availability, including evenings and weekends, if necessary, especially during major projects and eventsAbility to travelC3 Core Competencies:
