JOB DESCRIPTION:

Within C5ISC, the Shared Service, Business Operations Division – Field Coordination Depot Support Branch (BOD-FCDS) acts as the single touch point into the C5I Service Center for field units requiring depot support. Field coordination, in support of C5I Product Lines, facilitate deployment (installation activities) of approved Engineering Changes/Time Compliance Technical Orders (EC/TCTO) as well as sustainment maintenance services including preventative, corrective and adaptive maintenance. Sustainment maintenance, capturing electronic systems, encompass the product line’s systems over their full electronic systems life cycle. This also embraces the installation and configuration of all C5I services for afloat, air, shore, and deployable specialized forces platform types.

The Controlled Parts Exchange (CPE) Coordinator for BOD-FCDS to support USCG C5I ELEX and NTNO/NTCGO Systems. The CPE Coordinator must provide support with the management of the Automated CPE Solution Tool including data validation and entry into the CPE SharePoint request form. The CPE Coordinator must track and utilize USCG logistical and support applications and tools such as CGFixIT (Remedy or latest C5ISC Incident Management Tool), EAL, ALMIS, Automated CPE Solution Tool, OneTouch, WebFLS, CGPart, NESSS, and BOD-FCDS WAR Site. It is preferred that the candidate have a bachelor's degree or certification in an advanced program from a technical school, along with ten years of experience performing similar logistical coordination support including familiarity with DHS or DoD C5I systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support with the management of the Automated CPE Solution Tool including data validation and entry into the CPE SharePoint request form.
• Utilize CGFixIT (Remedy or latest C5ISC Incident Management Tool), EAL, ALMIS, OneTouch, WebFLS, CGPart, and NESSS, applications and tools to update and enter data into the Automated CPE Solution Tool.
• Perform replacement C5I System part research to verify part availability and correct exchange parts are identified. From this research provide the necessary material procurement support by generating MILSTRIP or micro-purchase procurement requests as necessary.
• Utilizing the Automated CPE Solution Tool generate Ad Hoc reports and metrics as requested.
• Provide electronic module/repairable material turn in tracking and advise fleet units of turn in due dates and required actions to complete equipment return. Assist with COMSEC equipment tracking and provide shipping support/guidance to field units.
• Maintain document management, including version/revision control and overall document organization.
• Support BOD-FCDS with the development and maintenance of databases as necessary.

• 2.6.1.8 Provide data collection support by sending emails and making phone inquiries to field commands/units, then organize and document the data obtained including CPE status updates by reaching out to Cutters and or Units, collecting information and updating each of the following sections following a CPE approval; “Recipient Install Completed”, “Donor Install Completed”, “PL Remediation Started” and “Final Comments”. In addition, perform Cutter/Unit Donor notification via email directed to Commanding Officers or Sector Commanders with respect to any concerns and respond or address concerns accordingly.
• Provide assistance as necessary to Intelligence System Product Line (ISPL) for Intelligence Systems CPEs and Infrastructure Services Division (ISD) for any Internet Connectivity CPEs..

REQUIRED SKILLS:


Experience, Education and Licensure:

• 10 years of experience with troubleshooting and maintaining DHS or DOD equipment.

Certifications/Qualifications:

• Preferred that the candidate shall have a college bachelor’s degree or achieved certification in an advanced advanced program from a technical school.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.
