YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Efficiency in Warehousing - Manage the warehouse of finished goods, ensuring the receipt of inventory in the correct quantity and quality, and its accurate entry into SAP. Implement best practices in storage and adopt standardized systems or processes in line with the internal warehousing strategy. Integrate sustainable warehousing practices, such as optimizing space utilization and minimizing energy and paper consumption. Accurate inventory - Oversee the accuracy of all inventories by coordinating monthly and annual inventory counts, identifying non-conforming finished goods (quality and quantity), and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions such as rework, blocking, or quarantine. Coordinate the final disposition process (write-offs and obsolescence). Execute inventory adjustments. Implement digital solutions for inventory tracking and forecasting to enhance accuracy and reduce discrepancies. Use innovative technologies to improve real-time inventory monitoring and data analysis. Compliant & Safe operations - Ensure the application of SSHE principles across warehousing and distribution operations. Actively engage with teams and contractors to promote safe behaviors and compliance with logistics regulations to meet safety targets. Manage employee and third-party compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including environmental regulations. Support the security department to prevent crime and stock loss. Utilize digital tools to monitor safety and compliance in real-time, facilitating immediate preventive and corrective actions. Distribution Excellence - Oversee day-to-day operational coordination of sales orders, deliveries, picking, packing, billing, loading, and transportation availability. Facilitate communication between functional areas and carriers to ensure timely responses to customer needs. Set performance indicators and metrics to track and improve efficiency. Ensure accurate shipping and receiving documentation, on-time delivery, and compliance with market return processes and claims. Leverage digital tools to streamline logistics, optimize routes, and improve customer satisfaction through innovative solutions. Warehousing and Distribution budget achievement - Prepare budgets and update forecasts throughout the year to maintain control of expenses in alignment with targets. Ensure the proper execution of procurement processes according to directives and procedures, integrating digital tools to track and manage financial performance. 3PL and carriers service management and innovation - Set up and manage the performance of third-party contract logistics companies and carriers. Manage budgets, assure required service levels, and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies. Collaborate with Procurement to negotiate contracts with external service providers, integrating sustainability and digitalization in service agreements. Explore and identify viable options for the use of electric vehicles in the supply chain, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and enhance the company's sustainability goals. Team management - Steer the talent development in the team, provide opportunities for personal development and encourage a positive work environment and strong interaction with SCM communities and other areas.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

Bachelor’s degree on Business Administration or Engineering. MBA or Master in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (preferred).At least 5 years of cumulative experience in different areas of Supply Chain. Advanced English and Spanish level, both written and spoken. Leam Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certification (desired). Great customer focus. Ability to drive results, vision and purpose. Innovative mindset and continuous improvement. Excellent with adaptability and building relationships. Outstanding communication, organizational and leadership skills. Capacity of agility and empowerment skills.
