Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This position will have a hybrid weekly work schedule, working both remote and on-site at our Glendale System Offices located in Glendale, CA.

As our California Region Internal Communications Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic regional internal communication initiatives to engage and inform employees, foster a positive company culture, and align employees with the company's goals and objectives.

You will oversee regional employee communications, employee engagement programs, and executive communications, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with regional and system priorities.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the region, associated markets, and with system communication teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with the business strategies throughout the region and adherence to system standards, practices, policies and ways of working.


Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.Minimum of 6 years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement or related roles.Proven track record of successfully leading employee engagement and communications programs and functions.Proven experience in developing and executing successful internal communication strategies.Proficiency in digital communication platforms and tools.

Required Special Skills:

Strong understanding of healthcare trends, regulations, and best practices.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to various audiences.Excellent presentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills.Collaborative work style.Ability to work in a large geographically diverse system.
