Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Entry Level Cable and Harness Technician to join our Manufacturing and Production team of qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Manufacture cable / harness products.Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings. Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.

Basic Qualifications: 

High School diploma or equivalent and 0 years experienceMust have U.S. CitizenshipMust be able to obtain and maintain DOD Secret clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience with Manufacturing Cable and Harness and ISO processesAble to read drawings and schematicsWorks well in a team environment Experience with Assembly harnessesAble to read wire listCable harness Braiding experienceActive Secret DoD Clearance and Program Access last investigated within the last 5 1/2 yearsAble to travel on short notice up to 25% of the time

Salary Range: $35,300.00 - $58,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
