Job Title: Cable and Harness Assembler
Job Description

We are currently seeking three Cable and Harness Assemblers for our facility in Fairfield. This position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 7am to 4:30 pm, with the potential for overtime as needed. The role involves interpreting drawings and blueprints for various assemblies, wrapping, crimping, and stripping wires to ensure accurate fabrication. Responsibilities also include identifying and reporting missing parts or issues, inspecting and repairing work as necessary, and conducting and documenting tests according to specifications.

ResponsibilitiesInterpret and follow drawings and blueprints for assemblies.Wrap, crimp, and strip wires to fabricate assemblies correctly.Identify correct parts and report any missing parts or issues with assemblies.Inspect own work, complete repairs and reworks as required.Conduct and document tests of units as per specifications.Essential Skills3-5 years of experience in Cable and Harness Assembly.Proficiency in reading blueprints and diagrams (3-5 years).Experience with cable strippers, crimpers, and wrappers.Crimping and shielding experience (3-5 years).Additional Skills & QualificationsCertifications in relevant fields are a plus.Experience with companies such as Northrup Grumman, Niitek, Virginia Panel, or World Test Systems is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
