**Cable Assembler - Will accept entry level** **Pay rate: $15/hr** **West Palm Beach, FL** **Job Overview** These are entry-level assembler openings. Ideal candidates will have experience with electrical assemblies, soldering, or cable assemblies. • Perform all required duties including the location and shrinking of marker bands on cable assemblies. • Detect and report defective material, faulty instructions, and unusual conditions to the Supervisor. • Gather materials and tooling necessary to perform work in an organized manner. • Utilize manual dexterity to handle small hand crimping tools, cutters, and heat guns. • Work effectively as a team member. • Communicate verbally with co-workers to maintain a safe working environment. • Perform numerous hand assembly operations based on detailed instructions. • Assemble multi-cable harnesses. • Follow schedules, written and oral instructions, to produce cable assemblies compliant with manufacturing specifications. • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies. **Qualifications** + 1+ years of general assembly experience + 6+ months experience working with hand tools + Manual dexterity + Teamwork + Effective communication **Work Environment** 2nd shift - 2:00pm-10:30pm Monday-Friday Training on 1st shift: 8 am - 5 pm, 1st day at 8:30 am Air-conditioned **Benefits & Perks** + Weekly Pay + Weekends Off + Health, Dental, & Vision Plans + 401(K) + Long-term opportunity **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
