Job Title: Cable Puller
Job Description

As a Cable Puller, you will be responsible for pulling fiber and CAT6 cable in a central utility plant. The ability to perform terminations is a plus, though not required. This role requires you to be trainable and able to learn and retain new information. You must have or acquire specific tools necessary for the job.

ResponsibilitiesPull fiber and CAT6 cable in a central utility plant.Learn and retain new information related to cable pulling.Utilize tools such as screwdrivers (regular and Phillips), drywall saw, torpedo level, tape measure, snips (with belt sheath), pliers (needle nose and channel locks), hammer, wrench set, cable stripper, flashlight, and gloves.Essential Skills6+ months of cable pulling experience with CAT6 and/or fiber.Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts.Flexible schedule for the first month to work both day and night shifts.Experience with wiring schematics and print reading.Additional Skills & QualificationsTesting experience or termination experience.Why Work Here?

This is a 6-8 year project providing consistent employment with weekly pay and opportunities for overtime.

Work Environment

You will be working on a large commercial airport project with numerous different trades on site. Security protocols must be followed, including accessing gated areas and rally points to board buses that take contractors to the work area. PPE must be worn at all times and a visible badge is mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00
