Cable Systems Engineers

Summary: Open to innovative candidates with cabling expertise for a flexible, hybrid role in electrical systems engineering.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative fields. Five years of experience in engineering, design, installation, or operations of submarine and underground cable systems. Experience in supporting power cable applications for utility scale electric transmission systems. Proficiency in leading technical aspects of projects independently. Experience with complex team interface management and project delivery facilitation. Experience with high-voltage DC (HVDC) cable systems and high-voltage AC (HVAC) systems above 230kV is preferable.

Job Responsibilities:

Engineer submarine and underground cable systems for various projects. Lead technical projects with minimal oversight, ensuring technical standards are met. Support utility scale power cable applications, enhancing system reliability and performance. Interface with cross-functional teams to drive and manage project milestones and deliverables. Contribute to the design and operational excellence of HVDC and high voltage HVAC systems.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
