Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cable Technician in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position plays a crucial role in our operations, with a focus on running cables and installations. The role involves a significant amount of travel, with the majority of projects requiring flying out of Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City. Responsibilities: • Conducting cable installations at various project sites • Operating with proficiency in Cabling and Fiber Optics • Using MSI - MicroSoft Installer for various applications • Traveling extensively to meet project requirements • Ensuring all operations adhere to safety standards • Managing varying project schedules effectively • Coordinating closely with the team to ensure project completion • Handling customer inquiries related to cable installation • Maintaining comprehensive records of each project • Adhering to all company policies and regulations. Requirements • Validated ability to install, maintain, and repair cable systems, including coaxial and fiber optic cables • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with MSI - MicroSoft Installer • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cable transmission • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and forms including work orders, staking sheets, schematics and circuit diagrams • Experience in working in different environments such as residential homes, commercial properties and construction sites • Familiarity with industry-standard safety protocols and procedures • Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical details to non-technical customers • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer needs • High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical or vocational training in related field is a plus.
