Job Title: Structured Cabling Technician Location: Long Island, New York Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Structured Cabling Technician to join our team in Long Island, New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in pulling and terminating Cat6 cables and must possess an OSHA 30 and SST certification. Responsibilities: + Pull and terminate Cat6 cables efficiently and accurately. + Install, maintain, and repair structured cabling systems. + Ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations. + Perform testing and troubleshooting of cabling systems. + Maintain accurate records of installations and repairs. + Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time. Requirements: + OSHA 30 and SST certification. + Proven experience in pulling and terminating Cat6 cables. + Strong understanding of structured cabling systems and industry standards. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Strong communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: + Additional certifications in structured cabling or related fields. + Experience with other types of cabling systems (e.g., fiber optic).
