What You Will Do:

The Cable Test and Repair Technician is part of the Hawk Patriot Sustainment Contract (HPSC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This individual is responsible for the improvement, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing cables that are in support of the Royal Saudi Arabian Defense Forces (RSADF) systems that supports the defense posture of KSA. Will provide technical and engineering advice to the program and technical managers and will participate in preventive maintenance measures at all maintenance levels. The Cable Test and Repair Tech will prepare and create special test procedures and methods as required for the repair of special electric and light cables, and will implement approved engineering changes. The individual will participate in opening and closing of work orders and on-the-job training (OJT).

Qualifications You Must Have:

Ability to operate and maintain the DITMCO test station.

Enforce applicable RSADF safety policies, procedures, and standards 

Perform job related duties as specified by the user unit

Fabricate cables

Test and repair chassis’

Test and repair Fiber Optic Cables

Individual assigned must have a minimum of two (2) years experience in testing and maintenance of electronic and electromechanical equipment associated with defense systems.

Proficiency in the English language both spoken and written.

Must have a Secret Security Clearance

Must be able to obtain a KSA visa

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree with focus on Power Generation or Engine Diagnostics and 2 years of experience, Associates Degree with 2 years of experience, or High School diploma with 6 years of experience

Graduate of a technical school or manufacturer's course of instruction on diesel power generation equipment, or equivalent on-the-job training (OJT)

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products
 

"Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
