Job Summary
We are searching for a CAD BIM Technician to be located in our offices in Sunnyvale, CA.  You will be supporting a global organization of mechanical, electrical and environmental engineers, construction professionals, project managers and site operations experts who plan, build, and operate Data Centers. You will be supporting Program Managers who manage data center projects that will include facility implementation planning, development and documentation of deployment standards, detailed data analysis, and corresponding recommendations.

We are seeking passionate candidates who are skilled with AutoCAD, Revit, and completing projects with important deadlines.

Your responsibilities:

Assist the team in drawing updates as required Test CAD applications Perform CAD length calculations and quality checks and collaborate with various teams to deploy components Conduct quality checks on current and future tools Develop procedures for future Data Center deployments Develop Data Center cable tray designs   Support and backup team Project Managers

Your background and required experience:

Experience managing complex spreadsheetsExperience with a geographically diverse team Able to function very independently with minimal oversight Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills Strong experience using AutoCAD and Revit Experience with at least two of the following and ability to learn: Server hardware and software, network hardware and software, data center infrastructure and operations, mechanical and electrical systems Strong Knowledge of Data Center environments B.A./B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science. In lieu of education, 2 years of relevant experience in an IT related field
