D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a CAD Design Technician-WA. The right candidate will provide design and drafting support on a variety of engineering projects related to residential and site infrastructure development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Review redlines mark-up modifications of civil construction drawings or PGP’s. able to work with trades and in-field area managers assisting plans changes.Produce topographical profiles, cross sections, plot plans (PGP’s), earthwork calculations, Lot fit, plotting, fence layout and grading plans with assistance Director of Land Development. Perform routine drafting assignments that require judgement in resolving issues or making recommendations.Prepare quantity take-offs from conceptual drawings and final construction plansWork under guidance of Director of Land Development to complete assigned work within critical path timeframes.Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to work overtimeD.R.
