Job Description Day to Day We are looking a Designer to join one of our largest federal clients here in OKC. You will be responsible for taking legacy designs that are not currently digital and digitize them. You may also be adding in updated designs or diagrams. May have to create the whole drawing, and just add 2 wiring diagrams for example. You will be specifically working on Aircraft specs and designs. Your Responsibilities Include: · Analyze/Maintain models, drawings, and other design documents · Determine design requirements · Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations. · Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as: AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, CATIA · Gathers information and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal. · Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications.
