Our client, an electric utility company is seeking a Trans Right of Way Agent to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, conflict management and organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.
**CAD Designer**
**Pay Rate:** $23-27/hr.
**Location:** New Albany, OH
**Duration** : 12-month contract, potential to convert
_Hybrid Work Schedule_
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare maps using computer aided drafting via sketches, schematics, and other engineering related drawings.
+ Create, revise, and maintain detailed engineering and record drawings, maps, and sketches using AutoCAD.
+ Perform mathematical calculations required to accomplish assigned work.
+ Operate reproduction machines, plotters, and other duplicating equipment.
+ Promote and support the Company’s’ Accidnet Prevention and Safety and Health programs.
+ Read vendors’ prints, shop and other drawings, and equipment operating instruction, and incorporate that information in the work being performed.
+ Prepare and review plan and profile drawings.
+ Prepare right of way and condemnation drawings.
**Job Requirements**
+ Associates degree in applied science, drafting and computer aided design or in civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering technology.
+ HS diploma w/ 4 years of relevant experience in electrical utility and/or related industrial drafting and/or computer aided drafting.
+ Proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is required.
