About this Role

The CAD Designer will work as a competent member of the drafting team, contributing to daily assigned tasks as directed by the Drafting Supervisor. 

What You'll Do Draft redlines from plannersProcess survey drawings into base mapsCreate circuit and vicinity mapsUtilize AutoCAD or AUD to create and modify drawingsLearn and stay up-to-date with company specific drafting standards and practicesWork a regular 40-hour workweek, with OT as requiredAll other duties as assigned What You'll Bring Basic knowledge and ability to utilize AutoCAD softwareAbility to code routines within AutoCADKnowledge of general civil drafting practicesAbility to read and understand utility and civil mapsAbility to utilize online maps to gather informationAble to learn quickly, and change focus when neededAbility to multi-task, with good organizational, planning and communications skillsProficient computer skills required

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent1 Year of Field Experience utilizing AutoCAD software

Preferred Education and Experience
