**Your Opportunity**
A Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Professional performs tasks which may include drafting, assisting with plans and designs for a wide range of industries from engineering, environmental services and construction to manufacturing. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Professionals work with close guidance and supervision with architects and design engineers to understand the requirements of initial designs and turn them into accurate and detailed technical drawings in 2D and 3D models for a variety of large and small engineering projects. As a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Professional, you will support senior staff by performing computer-aided design (CAD) drawings and 3D modeling for varied projects guided by precedence or clearly defined procedures, while being exposed to theory and principles of computer-aided design (CAD) knowledge.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Use computer software applications related to engineering work, including computer-aided drafting concepts and applications such as 2D and 3D platforms to complete assigned tasks.
+ Independently draft engineering designs and drawings from project blueprints, preliminary concepts, sketches and specifications.
+ Calculate dimensions, square footage, profile, component specifications, and material quantities as well as quantity take-offs and estimates.
+ Assist with the preparation of deliverable documentation such as technical reports, summaries, data sheets and graphs.
+ Collect field data, compile field notes and photographs, file, and manage all project related data.
+ Consistently execute prescribed technical procedures, safe work practices and work plans.
+ Execute revisions to drawings based upon engineers’ markups.
+ Complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Expert Level Microsoft product user: Office 365 Suite
+ Expert knowledge of latest Autodesk products: AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360
**Education and Experience**
+ Minimum of Associate's Degree or Technical School Diploma/Certificate Computer-Aided Design Technology.
+ A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in technical design
