In this role you will get to **work with a team of engineers and other drafters using MicroStation , Autocad Civil 3D, and Revit to create engineering drawings supporting transportation infrastructure projects in The Bay Area , California** **You will be supporting clients such as BART, and local city and county transportation systems.** **Hybrid remote work allowed ( meaning ability to work from home 2-3 days per week) . This role supports rail and transit projects , and is based out of our Oakland office.** **What You'll Be Doing:** + Work with a team of engineers and other drafters to create drawing packages for transportation construction projects + **Design work for rail transit projects for BART and other local regional clients** + Use design software from the Autodesk Civil 3D and Bentley Open Roads Designer or Microstation suites, depending on client requirements, as well as Revit. + Check your work to adherence to client CAD standards and engineers’ markups **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + 2-year technical degree or other related certification of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred, and typically 5 years or more of related experience. + Experience supporting transportation infrastructure, inclusive of rail & transit is highly desirable + Proficiency with Microstation and Autocad Civil 3D software is essential, Revit is a plus ! **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Willingness to work in a team environment and to learn from more experienced peers + Positive attitude **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
