JOB SUMMARY:  

Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products. (This may include developing software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, utilities, databases, cloud-based and internet-related tools.) This position is for an experienced developer who will aid in developing new features of the Advanced Design Menu (ADM an in-house tool used in Inventor), as well as other new tools for the engineering department. Along with developing new tools they will develop training documents to allow the engineering department to easily know how to use the new tools. They will also test existing tools/processes to develop new or more efficient ways to complete engineering tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop automation projects.Contribute to the successful execution of projects through designing, coding, order entry, testing, and documentation activities.Implement completed solutions.Participate in projects for new product development.Write technical documentation to support project activities including functional specifications, interface specifications, and user documentation.Communicate and facilitate conversation with customers at a technical and professional level.Convey to the end user all product application information specific to the project.Update and tailor Customer distribution and logistics software to meet customer requirements.Identify gaps in specifications and capability to “connect the dots” while on a deadline.Work with key business leaders and stakeholders to gather requirements and implement software according to business needs.Develop iLogic and/or IVB code used in ADM.Develop new tools to be used by engineering.Trouble shoot existing ADM code.Aid in training of engineering tools and processes.Develop ADM workflows for automation of engineering process.

The base salary range for this role is $76,100 to $114,200.  This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, etc.

Other Relevant Information:  This position may require up to 10-20% travel to various sites.
