CAD Drafter
Job Title: CAD DrafterJob Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in using CAD software, a high school diploma, and a desire to work in a drafting role long-term. This position requires a go-getter attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and an openness to learning new software. Responsibilities + Utilize CAD software to create detailed drafting work + Participate in on-the-job training for the first 1-2 weeks + Work under the guidance of a QC Specialist post-training + Perform drafting tasks using Microstation + Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency Essential Skills + Experience or interest in using CAD software + High School Diploma + Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment + Willingness to learn new software and techniques Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's degree or certificate in CAD (preferred) + Experience with ESRI ArcGIS (preferred) + Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, Solidworks, Revit, and other drafting software + Knowledge of electrical and mechanical drafting + Familiarity with Excel Work Environment The CAD Drafter will work in the office 100% of the time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm. The work environment is fast-paced, with employees given a heavy workload and minimal supervision. The dress code is business casual, with no jeans or sneakers allowed. The office is located at 21 Oxford Road, Mansfield, MA. This role offers a long-term opportunity for career growth, including potential advancement to QC or engineering roles.
