Job title: CAD Drafter Reports to: Engineering Director   Summary:  We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our engineering team. As a CAD Drafter, you will play a critical role in transforming concepts into reality, working closely with our engineers and designers to create precise and detailed designs that meet our high standards. Other duties may be assigned.  Create and modify 2D and 3D designs using computer-aided design software (CAD) for metal fabrication projects  Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications  Develop and maintain detailed technical drawings, models, and documentation  Conduct design reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision  Stay up-to-date with industry standards, design trends, and emerging technologies   Qualifications:  3+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in metal fabrication or a related industry  Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD (2D), SolidWorks, or similar)  Strong understanding of engineering principles, drafting techniques, and manufacturing processes  Excellent communication and teamwork skills  High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, drafting) preferred
