This position is responsible for generating various types of drawings that are supplied to designers, engineers, project/product managers, field personnel and customers. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Technology

Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience

or

Education: Associate Degree in Computer Drafting Technology and/or Architectural Drafting

Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience

or

Education: High School Diploma or GED with CAD course work                    

Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience

Travel: 0-5%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.

Overtime may be required.Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrates familiarity with AutoCAD customization.Demonstrates ability to read and interpret blueprints.Provides CAD/Revit/Solidworks support to internal and external customers; provides excellent customer service.Displays an understanding of one-line diagrams.Produces drawings and revises existing drawings efficiently and accurately as needed.Creates wiring and/or cabling labels.Demonstrates a working knowledge of X-references, Paper/Model Space, Plotting, and PDM software.Demonstrates the ability to market CAD advantages to internal customers through cost saving ideas.Demonstrates basic design skills in the following areas: power, lighting, data/communications or mechanical design.Supports mechanical, structural, civil and automation project work with relevant CAD software packages as capabilities allow.Demonstrates the ability to market CAD advantages to internal customers through cost saving ideas.Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
