Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CAD Technician to join our expanding team. This position has opened due to the acquisition of additional work. You will play a crucial role in supporting our engineers primarily on the design of railway bridge structures.
ResponsibilitiesSupport Rail Engineers and Rail Project Managers with the production of drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software.Maintain client-specific CAD standards and workspaces.Develop basic construction quantities from designs.Work on projects related to railway, transit, and highway infrastructure.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCADExperience with MicroStationDrafting experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in bridge structure designStrong math skillsA desire to learn and take pride in workWork Environment
This position is based in an engineering office in Lexington, Kentucky, which houses roughly 100 engineers of various disciplines. There is potential for a hybrid work schedule. We offer holiday/PTO benefits, and there is an opportunity for career growth, potentially moving into a CAD Manager role.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
