Job Description
This individual will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components based on current examples, as well as providing design support for future initiatives. Drawings will require a high level of detail in both plan views and corresponding elevation views in certain cases. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to work with minimal direction, and create drawing sets that will standardize workspaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations.
ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and components.Provide design support for future initiatives.Produce highly detailed plan and elevation views.Standardize workspaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience operating CAD with the ability to manage layers and elevation plans.3+ years of experience in REVIT.Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design or Architecture.Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems.Experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD 2D and 3D.Experience using BIM 360 for projects and Smartsheets.Experience in architecture or material handling equipment (MHE).Experience in conveyor design and layout.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment
The CAD Technician will work in the Bellevue office from Tuesday to Thursday and remotely on Monday and Friday. This role will involve collaboration with engineers to draft and design plans for a large sort center, including both current and future projects. There is an opportunity to transition into a full-time role within the next 9-12 months.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00
