We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Survey CAD Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD platforms such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center, but we are willing to provide on-the-job training for the right candidate. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of surveying projects and develop your skills in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Compute various types of surveys including topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.Set up staking files for field crews using CAD software.Process mapping and scanning work to produce accurate survey deliverables.Collaborate with project managers and surveyors to confirm accurate and timely completion of projects.Maintain organized project files and documentation.Assist with quality control checks to verify accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or coursework in surveying or CAD is a plus.2+ years of experience with CAD platforms such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, or Trimble Business Center.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $50.00/hr.
