CAD Technician

The CAD Technician role is based in Crewe and involves the progress of new manufacturing design projects.

As a CAD Technician your daily duties will be:
Producing drawings using 2D AutoCADPreparations of parts lists, quotations and deadlinesProcurement of materialsPreparing O&M manuals, documenting and filing them correctlyFeedback on the latest marketing trendsBuilding rapport with clients and support any queriesLiaise with other departments within the companyIdentify training needs to assist with your career progressionEnsure all products are purchased in compliance
Experience/Qualifications for a CAD Technician:
Understanding of engineering principalsUnderstanding of Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of AutoCAD LTRelative experience in pipework and valvesUnderstanding engineer drawingMechanical engineering experienceAutoCAD LT knowledge
