Our Client, a Business Manufacturing And Supply company, is looking for a CAD Technician for their Painted Post, NY location. Responsibilities: + Collaborate closely with engineers and supervisors, taking direction to fulfill project requirements. + Engage in longer-term routine-based tasks. + Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks. + Create and modify CNC programs using Mastercam. + Develop comprehensive drawing packages, including managing redlines and revisions. + Handle process and die tracking through spreadsheets and updating tracking systems. + Perform admin duties for PDMWorks. + Provide drafting support for non-die components. + Manage legacy print obsolescence. + Conduct CAD audits and ensure DARM compliance. + Create and manage technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy. + Offer support to the shop floor as needed. + Provide support for various assigned tasks and projects as needed. + Multitask effectively, managing several projects simultaneously without compromising on quality. + Maintain high attention to detail in all aspects of work. + Encompasses the use of integrated systems for computer-aided design used for the systematic representation and dimensional specification of extrusion dies, as well as occasional production tooling and equipment. Utilizes CAD digitizing techniques and skills. Prepares and maintains CAD models and drawing packages. + Implements standard procedures and proposes intermediate level modifications to improve workflow. Requirements: + Associate degree minimum required + Minimum of 3 years SolidWorks exp + Minimum of 3 years Mastercam exp + PDM Works experience a plus + Familiarity with AutoCad + Microsoft Suite proficiency + Strong capability in handling drafting packages, redlines, revisions, and documentation management. + Proven ability to follow stringent processes and compliance standards. + Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks. + Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to take direction well. + Flexibility to provide support as needed across different areas.
