Group: Bridge

Position: CAD Technician

Location: Indianapolis, IN

 

Our Bridge group is looking for someone who is passionate about drafting and works well in a fast paced environment to join our team. This fast paced and exciting position will provide an opportunity to learn on the job while working on some the region’s best bridge projects.  This CAD Technician will work with the engineering team to develop plan sets for large road and bridge projects across Indiana, Ohio and Texas.

Responsibilities Develop CAD drawings for bridge construction projectsPrepare quantities and bills of materials for bridge componentsManage time effectively to meet fast paced deadlinesWork as part of a growing team to provide a quality product for our clients Qualifications High school graduate requiredDegree in Computer Aided Drafting or similar field preferredExperience with Autocad or similar design softwareExperience with Microstation/Geopak preferredExperience with rebar detailing preferred, but not requiredSolid verbal and written communication skills5-15 years of experience
