Position: CAD Technician
Location: Columbus, Cleveland, or Akron, Ohio
Our team of 40+ professionals have access to the latest tools such as GPS, robotic, UAV technology, terrestrial scanning and hydrographic surveying equipment. Our Land Surveying team does it all, from ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys to topographic and boundary surveys, to hydrographic, transportation (bridge and road) and utility route surveys, to right-of-way services and construction staking.
Responsibilities Process field data into topographic surveys and ALTA/NSPS Land Title SurveysPreparation of exhibits and subdivision platsAssist with the layout of property and easement descriptionsDownload LiDAR, aerial photography and other GIS data from public domain sitesPreparation of Location Control Route Survey Plats
Qualifications 2 or more years of professional experience in drafting or design2 or more years of AutoCAD (current versions) and/or Civil 3D (current versions) experienceLand survey drafting experience a plusMicroStation experience a plusKnowledge of other related software (Trimble Business Center, GIS, etc.)Experience with scanning or other non-traditional surveying technologies is a plus
