STV currently has an opening in any of our NJ (Lawrenceville/Newark) or PA (Philadelphia, Douglassville or Harrisburg) offices for a CAD Technician Specialist to perform highway and bridge related drawing development tasks on transportation improvement projects using Bentley Modeling tools.
Responsibilities include preparing contract drawings utilizing CAD standards, client design standards and presentation drafting format.
Required Experience:
Associates Degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience. A minimum of 6 years of transportation drafting for transportation agencies such as NJDOT and/or PennDOT. Knowledge of and experience with ProjectWise, OpenRoads Designer, MicroStation, Presentation, Plan & Detail Development, and setting CAD Standards a must. Experience with OpenBridge Designer, AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred. Strong teamwork skillsResponsibilities:
Solve problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision Work on multiple projects simultaneously and produce deliverables within the established schedule. Coordinate with the design team to build deliverables from initial project setup through final project delivery. Develop and maintain the client workspace and standards for projects. Train engineers and CAD operators on the standards and provide updates. Perform quality audits.Don’t meet every single requirement?
