We are currently seeking a CAD Technologist to work out of our Kitchener office.

Responsibility Prepare structural drawings, including plans elevations, sections and details for a wide variety of commercial, industrial and residential building projects using current Revit and Autodesk CAD software; Assist with field review of projects at the construction stage; Assist with review of shop drawings, as needed; Attend and participate in project team meetings and coordinate with team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of project deliverables; Assist with Building Code (OBC) analysis and building permit process; and Additional duties, as assigned. Requirements Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Architectural Construction; 3-5 years of experience in a similar role (including co-op experience); E.T. or C.Tech. designation (or working towards either); Proficient working knowledge of Revit modeling and experience with CAD; Understanding of applicable design standards and general engineering principles; Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code; Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Excellent attention to detail; Excellent time management skills; and Ability to work independently on concurrent projects.
