**40111BR** **Extended Job Title:** Cadet **Position Description:** Must be accepted to the Basic Peace Officer Training Academy which includes instruction and training mandated by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. A cadet must attend scheduled classes and actively participate in programs of instruction. Duties involve timely completion of assignments, participating in classroom projects and discussions, and receive hands on training in various skills needed by entry level police officers.
