Description: + We are currently seeking a Structural Drafter with 1-3 years of experience + Candidates need CADWorx and steel experience + Looking for industrial background - mining, w/ww, oil/gas, etc. + Candidates can be a drafter if they have the above qualifications + Straight time overtime available for this position + This person can sit out of Westminster or Englewood office Responsibilities: + Support Designers and project team members across various industries + Ensure structural drawing deliverables are completed on-time and within budget + Collaborate with other design disciplines to resolve physical design clashes within the 3D model + Review the 3D model for completeness + Travel to client facilities to verify on-site physical design conditions + Produce 2D structural drawing deliverables with attention to quality, consistency, and accountability. Qualifications: + 1+ year of experience + Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred (CAD certificate required if non-degreed) + Industrial experience in mining, wastewater, oil and gas, or similar sectors. + Proficiency in CADworx and at least 1 major CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) + Awareness of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design + Awareness of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design + Awareness of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations + Proficiency with Bentley Open Buildings Designer preferred + Experience with Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Revit, and Trimble Tekla valued but not required About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
