Job Title: Simultaneous Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Simultaneous Engineer to join our team. The primary focus will be on Paint PE Simultaneous Engineering, new model introduction planning, and development. This role involves identifying new vehicle change points, studying their impact on current processes and production, and ensuring that new models meet safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards.

ResponsibilitiesIdentify new vehicle change points and study their impact on current processes and production.Ensure new models meet paint safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards.Communicate with designers and other stakeholders to achieve unified process requirements.Plan and support the production team by utilizing digital engineering, CAE, 3D modeling, and rapid prototyping.Provide vehicle specifications and process impact information to planning, materials, and equipment teams.Develop and update Paint SE standard check sheets, benchmarks, and feedback from other projects.Plan and maintain overall project schedules.Develop planning standards.Essential SkillsBachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.Proficiency in 2D and 3D modeling, AutoCAD, and Catia.Experience in mechanical engineering, project management, and mechanical design.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SolidWorks.OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.Work Environment

This is a completely onsite position, requiring local candidates. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential for overtime and work on weekends or holidays if project needs arise. The role includes 10% travel, with possible international travel to Canada and Mexico. The contract is for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Employees are provided with 10 PTO days and 9 paid holidays per calendar year, and any hours worked over 40 are compensated at time and a half.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00
