CAE Engineer - Crash

Job Summary:

Our client in Saline, MI is looking for a CAE Engineer. This is a contract position.

What You Will Do:

Mesh and build Crash safety CAE models.Analyze structural performance of CAE results.Create recommendations to improve performance of vehicle structureCreate documentation and negotiate countermeasure implementation into design drawings.Setup and conduct component testingIncorporate component test results into full vehicle CAE to improve accuracy.Plan and conduct full vehicle evaluations to confirm performance predictions are achieved.

What You Will Need:

Basics:

Mechanical Engineering or Biomechanical Engineering DegreeMinimum of 2 years’ employment experience in Crashworthiness CAE using LS-Dyna.  Front or Side Impact Experience is ideal.Strong analysis, communication, and documentation capabilitiesExperience with CAE led design and negotiating countermeasuresProject leadership experience is a plus.
