CAE Engineer (Temporary 12 months) + **Location** Billund, Denmark + **Job ID** 0000022909 + **Category** Engineering & Science **Job Description** **This is a great opportunity to apply your engineering experience to how we produce our core product!** The CAE department provides simulation support to the engineering development of the LEGO Group. This includes analysis of injection moulding processes as well as analysis of the mechanical robustness of both bricks and moulds. **Responsibilities** + Simulation of injection moulding process in operational support of the design of elements (bricks) and moulds + Ensure alignment with internal customers to secure consistency, quality, and value of delivered CAE service. + Provide expert guidance based on critical interpretation of CAE simulation results. + Contribute to continuous quality assurance, validation, and improvement of CAE simulation tools. **Requirements** + Relevant education and/or CAE simulation working experience + Reasonable working knowledge of CAD/CAE software systems + Ability to evaluate simulation results from underlying physics + Good written and oral communication skills + Team player mentality with structured approach and focus on delivering results **Nice to have** + Knowledge about injection moulding processes or polymers + Specific experience with Siemens NX and/or Moldex3D + Curiosity and willingness to challenge _status quo_ .
