Storey Park Club is thrilled to offer an exciting career opportunity for a friendly and dependable Café Attendant to join our team at our poolside café within the clubhouse. This part-time position offers flexible hours, and we are seeking someone who thrives in a hospitality environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional service to the clubs managed by Troon.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve food (simple items cooked in an air fryer) and drinks, including alcoholic beverages. Occasionally, the role may require setting up and operating an outdoor BBQ grill for special events or gatherings. Provide excellent customer service to all guests. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register transactions, and process payments with POS system. Must be able to multitask, and work in a fast paced environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met. Restock supplies and ingredients as needed. Assist in the setup and breakdown of catering or special events, if applicable. Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old (for serving alcohol) Food safety certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required Must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday (Monday and Tuesday off)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.  The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, and crouch; and taste or smell.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
