Overview What you will have an opportunity to do: Come join our food and beverage team who have the front row seat to providing amazing customer service experiences! Café Latte, the perfect pick-me up when you need it most. The Abbey Resorts very own Café Latte serves Intelligentsia coffee drinks, delicious breakfast treats, and grab-and-go items. Guests can enjoy their daily cup of coffee here or meet up with friends before they head to the pool or the lake. As a barista in Café Latte, you’ll enjoy creating handcrafted Intelligentsia beverages for customers starting their day, preparing food items, and creating long lasting memories for our guests. The ideal candidate can work at a fast pace, have attention to detail, focused on cleanliness and have a great personality. Your role: Greet and serve all guests in a positive and friendly manner. Follow predetermined instructions regarding recipes and quantities, following drink specifications exactly. Properly use the POS system Prepare coffee and food orders effectively as they are received. Be aware of food and product inventory to ensure adequate par stocks. Must follow accepted procedures for equipment operation, product handling and storage. Maintain a neat, organized and sanitary work environment. Work collaboratively with other team members. Properly elevate any problems or complaints to leader on duty. Your Environment: Controlled indoor temperatures. Varied volume levels based on capacity of outlet or activity in lobby area. Standing and walking on hard surface tile flooring, carpet, possibility for wet floors - non-slip shoes a must! Qualifications What are we looking for? The right person will show great customer etiquette, be empathic, outgoing, and should thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers.
