Job Overview:
The Café attendant plays a key role in operating a stand-alone food, coffee, beverage, and retail venue. The attendant will take care of residents in all aspects of the café with a smile.
This is a position for an individual who routinely exercises good judgment and exceptional problem-solving skills. As the face of the cafe experience, maintaining positivity and diplomacy in a fast-paced environment is critical while maintaining standards.
Your Responsibilities:
Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages. Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment Cleaning service and seating areas Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers Servicing customers and taking orders Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies Receiving and processing customer payments Preparing ice cream orders Stocking retail store during shift as needed Helping guests with all aspects of the café including Starbucks, Hershey’s Ice Cream and full retail component. Totals receipts at end of shift  Perform various other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Minimum of one (1) year in a similar role preferred. Team player. Ability to multi-task Ability to communicate effectively verbally. Ability to exceed expectations of guess and team members. Ability to operate available equipment such as cash registers, calculators, etc. Basic mathematical skills as needed to make change and give refunds. Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.

Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 hourly; paid bi-weekly
