Cafeteria Associate - Part-Time - Weekends Off!

Prepare and serve food in the Cafeteria for the Home Office and catering events as requested. Become cross-trained and work in all cafeteria positions including: griddle, drinks, serving line, prep, cook, fry, baker, dishwasher, sanitation, catering, stock, inventory, and receiving.


What we are looking for


Previous customer service experience;At least one (1) year experience in institutional food prep preferred;Working knowledge of all facets of kitchen including food safety, preparation, and storage; sanitation; weights and measures; following a recipe;Multi-tasking skills and basic math skills;Work closely with others as a team on a daily basis;Learn, cooperate with others, and follow written and oral instructions;Person-In-Charge (PIC) training and/or ServSafe Certification will be required.


What you will do


Provide quick and courteous customer service to create memorable moments for customers;Daily preparation, presentation, and service of large quantities and a variety of foods and beverages served Monday – Friday to Home Office team members and guests;Timely preparation, presentation, and delivery of foods in appropriate quantities for meetings and catered events upon request;Maintain clean and sanitary work and service areas in accordance with White Castle procedures and Department of Health directives;Inventory, stock, and receive merchandise and supplies;Follow all safety guidelines and procedures;Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Availability to Work & Physical Requirements


Schedule for Part-Time - 28 hours per week; Monday – Thursday 6:45am – 2:30pm;Cafeteria Hours of Operation are 7:00am – 1:15pm, Monday – Friday;Must be flexible to work normal Cafeteria Hours of Operation as needed for extra coverage;Long periods of standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds;Run an industrial dishwasher and other Cafeteria equipment.
