Begin a career as part of the food services team, utilizing your skills and abilities to change the life of a Job Corps student.** **Work schedule:** Varies with some overtime possibilities. **Benefit package includes:** + Health/dental/vision/life insurance + AD&D as well as short-term disability + 401(k) + Paid time off + Paid holidays + Professional development assistance + Career advancement opportunities **Job responsibilities:** This position is responsible for keeping assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition. **Essential functions:** + Maintain and preserve all flooring and/ or covering by scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing and sweeping + Collect and dispose of all trash, litter and other debris + Mix and use basic cleaning compounds, waxes and disinfectants + Supervise assigned students while completing center work support tasks **Education and Experience Requirements:** + Experience with cleaning compounds, waxes, polishes, disinfectants, etc. and their proper application + Previous experience in dishwashing or as a custodian preferred. + Valid UT food handler's permit required by state law + Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. + Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management **Why:**  Make a positive impact in your community by doing meaningful work that results in a rewarding career.
